Capture a piece of the real Ireland as you sit back and listen to Billy Keane.
Son of the famous playwright, John B, Keane, Billy and his father are both being honored this year for their contributions to Irish literature.
As a writer, Billy is the author of seven books and writes a popular column for The Irish Independent newspaper two, or three times a week. He has been writing for the Irish Independent for over 17 years, and has great freedom to write what he wants.
Bill runs the famous John B. Keane Pub in Listowel, Co. Kerry which has been open over 65 years, and you can find him there most often when things aren’t shut down as they are right now!
Along with the character of the pub, Billy likes to say, "We might be the literary capital of Ireland but we are also the character capital of Ireland!”
